KGI merges business with science, which gives us a clear understanding of the industry and teaches us how to turn the research into real products. As a small school, students have close contact with professors that have experience and expertise in different biotech fields. KGI also offers huge opportunities and facilities to international students.

My two years at KGI were the most academically and personally rich in my entire academic career. I owe so much of where I stand today to the opportunities that KGI gave me when they accepted me into the PPC program and allowed me to stay the second year for the MBS program.

Speaking with KGI alumni and attending KGI Visit Day confirmed my decision to attend KGI. Although the event was small in size, the level of energy and positivity that I felt at the Visit Day as I sat amongst current students, professors, and faculty was beyond exciting. Getting to engage in these personable conversations with some of the brightest minds was very motivating for me. It gave me a little taste of what great sense of community is present throughout KGI.

KGI offers so much to so many individuals, including networking, information sessions, career services, and incredible classes. Looking back to before I started at KGI to now, I am a whole new person who developed a new set of expertises!

I attended a campus visit day and I remember that the KGI representatives kept stating how many career opportunities would be available as a result of coming to KGI. Naturally I was a bit skeptical鈥攚hat school doesn鈥檛 say that, I thought鈥攂ut I can guarantee that KGI is uniquely positioned to deliver on that promise for the life science and healthcare industries. Students have abundant opportunities to network and collaborate with potential employers that you feel confident being able to secure a job shortly after graduation.

At KGI, I learned not only in the traditional classroom setting, but also from industry experts, accomplished alumni, and peers at various events organized by the Institute.

The beauty of a KGI education is that you get to specialize, but you also get a broad overview. Now I have a big-picture understanding of other functions within the company, which helps me bring something unique to the table.

Every day, I continue to leverage the knowledge and experience I gained at KGI. The program enabled me to understand the industry landscape and provided me with a solid foundation to enter the life sciences industry.

Often, scientists get caught up in small details. KGI taught me to take a bird鈥檚-eye view. That perspective gives me an edge. I can simultaneously understand the science as well as the business side of my work.

I loved science, but I missed the business side. I had considered becoming a doctor or a professor, but I still wanted something different. KGI was the perfect mix of business and science. It exposed me to topics and career options I didn鈥檛 know existed.
